I swear, there must’ve been a full moon. The students are coming out in droves! Well, mid-terms did just happen. Yesterday, I needed to veg when I got home. No computer at all. Just mindless entertainment thanks to my Xbox. Tonight was about the same, but instead I turned to the dumb box. Oh, woe is me. Tomorrow is another day, and it’s Friday. TGIF! I am soo ready for the weekend to be here.

Egads! What a day. L is not sleeping through the night and it’s making me tired during the day. He didn’t get a nap on Sunday (Mother’s Day), yet he still manages to wake up at 1:30a. Last night it was 3:30a, and Chris wanted to go to the College in the morning before work @ 4:30a. Thank goodness my mother-in-law fed us. There was no way I would be able to put something decent together.
I got to catch up with my Arbonne upline, Aimee. I asked her to sub for interpreting at the College, but the student e-mailed me that she wasn’t feeling well and was a no-show, so we chatted for a little bit. It was really nice.

I had a good weekend with it being Mother’s Day and all. I was served breakfast Sunday morning. Usually, I make the “Sunday” breakfast which consists of eggs, bacon and pancakes. This time, hubby made a breakfast sandwich. Yummy! I played Lode Runner on the X-Box almost the entire weekend. What I should have done was update my contact list from everyone that stopped by my table at the Health Fair and begin calling all those people. I was thinking I could do this tonight, but I subbed for my mother-in-law’s Gin Rummy group, so nix that idea. Hopefully tomorrow night.
I opened my Seattle City Light bill. That nearly floored me. I think I need to start making a bi-weekly payment plan.

Hubby and I went to see the new Star Trek movie; it was great! This movie gives an opportunity to refresh the franchise. The only catch is: everything you knew about the Star Trek universe is now going to be different if they do another movie.

A full moon must be on the horizon. Today was… well, I’m not sure how to explain it, but my boss and I were mentally tired by lunchtime, nearly exhausted by the end of the day.
I started to try my hand at knitting today. I received a kit from Creative Home Arts Club. Boy, whoever put thought about putting this kit together needs to be fired. This is supposed to be for knitters of all types, including beginners like me. The instructions were terrible and they gave me the “hairy” yarn. This was not yarn for a beginner. Luckily I have a very good and patient friend, Annalee, that is a terrific knitter and she showed me how to get started this morning. Of course, by the time I got home and tried to continue, I really messed up and had to start over. I’m kind of afraid to move on without her present so she can fix my dropped stitches. I will learn… eventually. Tomorrow is Star Trek!

I didn’t get to do an entry yesterday because I spent the evening packing my Arbonne stuff for the Health Fair today. Today’s turnout was light. I did get a few names which is good, but I need to get cracking and call these people. Tomorrow is another day. Friday, the hubby and I are going to see the new Star Trek movie. He is such a kid… or geek. He watches the trailers online every night.

I can’t believe we’re already four days into May. I’m kind of excited: I get to take Wednesday and part of Friday off. I have to use up some comp. time and May is pretty much the month I need to do it in. June is going to be hectic with Commencement, and I have a feeling that I’ll be adding more comp. time during that period of time. It’s difficult because Commencement lands on a Friday, the end of a work week. Sigh, I like my predicament.

So I didn’t have an entry for the end of April. I ended the day exhausted and couldn’t muster the energy to get to the computer. Not to mention that if I did, I’d be up until midnight again updating this and facebook, going through e-mail and general surfing. I think I’ve done a pretty good job keeping up with my blog. Let’s hope I keep it up. Happy May Day! I’m turning in early. I’ve got testing tomorrow: SAT.

I placed an order for Arbonne a couple of days ago and forgot to order some of this. I remedied that by ordering product samples tonight. This is incredible! Arbonne has introduced new products that will make age spots disappear! I can’t wait to get my hands on this stuff.
- Intensive Pro-Brightening Night Serum and Age Spot Brightening Day Cream with SPF 30
- Revelage Hand Therapy with SPF 30 shields skin against UV damage.
- Revelage Spot Minimizer diminishes the appearance of age spots and skin discoloration.

Another day has come and gone, but it’s only Tuesday. Tuesday is also guys night out, so I’m taking care of the kids. So what do I do? I download Lode Runner on the XBOX. I haven’t played Lode Runner in years! The last time I played it was on an Apple IIe computer with a 5 1/4 floppy disk. Of course, back then it was a green screen and stick people, now it’s really cool digital graphics and music… a heck of a lot more fun.
I’ve been e-mailing my cousin about a family reunion in Hawaii and putting together a geneaology book together. Since she knows I like to make my own greeting cards, she asked me to help. This is going to be fun and stressful at the same time. I can’t wait to get started. Okay, yes, I can.
