Another day has come to an end. Summer quarter started and it was busy as usual, but it didn’t get that way until mid-morning. I have quite a bit of comp time to use before the end of the month which I will gladly take at some point.

Survived another night with the kiddos. My m-i-l made dinner and fed us. Chris came home earlier than usual. He looks exhausted.

Another successful evening with the kids, well, for the most part. Both were in bed before 9p, but they are still awake. Logan is so tired, but refuses to close his eyes. One more night and then it’s just me and the Logster. He’s such a problem solver. I just wish he would talk.

Chris has to work at the PA every night all week leaving me with the kids. Tonight, got me and the kids fed, bathed, and in bed by 9:15p. A new record!

Oif! I’m still recovering from graduation Friday evening. It went well, although I didn’t get to leave until 10:15p or so. Then I had testing Saturday morning and then dinner at the Melting Pot to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. I was supposed to have two sessions of PRAXIS, but my second session was a no show, so I got to go home early. I stopped by Joann and got a second pair of knitting needles and started practicing at home.

I also stopped by the drug store and got some loratadine tablets because I’ve been having terrible post-nasal drip. Got home, took some, and took a nap. I’m not sure if it was the tablets or because I was already tired, but I was drowsy at dinner. That didn’t stop me from having a drink though. I had some sort of choclate martini with Kahlua and Baileys. YUMMM!!

Chris and Peter made two gates on Sunday. They did a good job.

Today was a blah day. I need a vacation.

Today is out 15th Wedding Anniversary. Chris had to work late and the electrician was busily working on the addition. We’ll be celebrating Saturday evening instead at my favorite restaurant: The Melting Pot.

Tomorrow is graduation. I’m still not sure what I’m going to wear.

Three days until graduation… and counting. I wonder if I should go clothes shopping tomorrow.

My allergies are still going berzerk. Ugh.

Today was the beginning of another long week. Graduation is this Friday and I have to gear up for that, create seating chart, maybe go shopping for new clothes. Okay, I doubt the last item will happen. What’s worse is my allergies have really flared up to the point of almost losing my voice. I had testing last Saturday and my voice was so hoarse. I’ve been taking ibuprofen to manage the sore throat. I need to figure something else out. Someone told me I should try Mucinex. maybe…

One more week until graduation. Another few students requesting guest accommodations. Oi, the info has been posted since March. Procrastinate now!

I’m really liking Facebook at the moment. I’ve found a couple of applications and games to play with. Not to mention that it’s easier to keep in touch with a lot more people than I would normally get to in a day… or see. I have to get to bed. I have testing tomorrow.

Another day in the refridgerated jet plane. My office is so cold and loud (whine) when the a/c is on. The temperature was in the upper 80s again – 87 or 88. Sat outside during lunch to warm up, but then got cold again going back in. At least my boss and I were able to take a field trip to the Amphitheatre to look at ADA seating. That made the rest of the afternoon go by quicker.

Chris finally got around installing the portable a/c for our bedroom, but of course, the evening breeze came in and cooler temperatures are on the way. I don’t think we’ll need it for a while after tomorrow. It’s supposed to get to 79 degrees and gradually drop to mid to upper 60 all week next week… with chance of rain.

I hope the electrician gets the permits together right away and gets the work completed soon. I have furniture out in the carport. If it’s going to rain, I need to move the stuff indoors.
