I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since my last post… no wait, yes, I can. When I started this I knew that I wouldn’t. I never kept a diary, and I had a difficult time keeping a journal for any of my English classes. Maybe I can change that.

A thought that I’m sure most women (and maybe a few men) can relate to: I tell my husband something or to do something. He responds, but when we come back to the subject, I get a “I don’t remember you saying that” or “I never said that” response. Maybe I should use this blog as my diary.

I’m constantly telling my husband to throw away his garbage if he’s cooking in the kitchen, i.e., if you open a can, rinse it an throw it in the recycle; if you package, throw away the wrapper. That type of stuff. Simple, right? Yet he still won’t listen. Today, we had hot dogs for dinner. When my husband goes to grab the ketchup, he sees that the mayo in the fridge expired a month ago, so he takes it out and sets it on the counter instead of taking the extra step to put it in the garbage. Later, we find our son eating the contents of set mayo.

Why won’t he listen? Nag, nag, nag, nag, nag…
