One more week until graduation. Another few students requesting guest accommodations. Oi, the info has been posted since March. Procrastinate now!
I’m really liking Facebook at the moment. I’ve found a couple of applications and games to play with. Not to mention that it’s easier to keep in touch with a lot more people than I would normally get to in a day… or see. I have to get to bed. I have testing tomorrow.

Another day in the refridgerated jet plane. My office is so cold and loud (whine) when the a/c is on. The temperature was in the upper 80s again – 87 or 88. Sat outside during lunch to warm up, but then got cold again going back in. At least my boss and I were able to take a field trip to the Amphitheatre to look at ADA seating. That made the rest of the afternoon go by quicker.
Chris finally got around installing the portable a/c for our bedroom, but of course, the evening breeze came in and cooler temperatures are on the way. I don’t think we’ll need it for a while after tomorrow. It’s supposed to get to 79 degrees and gradually drop to mid to upper 60 all week next week… with chance of rain.
I hope the electrician gets the permits together right away and gets the work completed soon. I have furniture out in the carport. If it’s going to rain, I need to move the stuff indoors.

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a whole week since my last post. Well, actually, I can. I tend to slack off. I can’t even remember what we did Friday! I do remember that Chris had to work Friday and Saturday evening up at the College. We had dinner at my mother-in-law’s house Sunday. Monday was the first day of June… another “wow” moment as we are midway through the year.
I went with L’s preschool class to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle yesterday. It was a pretty good trip and I think he had an okay day. I had to drive him to school because there was not going to be any bus service. I was planning to follow the bus up, but was offered another parent’s seat on the bus because the other parent had an allergic reaction to something and couldn’t come. So, L cried when we got to his classroom; cried when I put him on the bus; fell asleep while going to the Zoo; cried when we got there; did not like the fact I was putting him in a stroller, but later didn’t mind because he didn’t want to walk; got upset when we sat down for lunch; carried him while in the nocturnal creatures area; cried when we got back onto the buses; cried when we got back to school. Other than all that, I think he had a good time. He posed for a couple of class pictures, one with me holding his hand, another without me. I carried his diaper bag which is like a backpack but in a sling format. That was heavy. Today I paid the price: my neck and shoulders were stiff and sore. Thank goodness I had acupuncture this afternoon. That relieved some of the trauma. I really did not want to leave after my appointment was over. I just wanted to lay on the bed with the heating pad under me. It was relaxing.
Chris has to work at the College again tonight, Friday, and Saturday evening. I also have to work Saturday morning. Ugh.
